Being a teacher, teaching is just like meditation,but only teaching is not the only thing that comes with the role of a teacher. But you have to be sure about the abilities and interest of the students. If the students are not learning at the pace you are teaching; there would be no use of teaching.The teacher must know if their students are learning at a normal pace or not.There are certain steps that can help the teachers to know about the learning habits of the students.
·         Be precise about the essential concepts
You should be precise about the things that you want the students to learn.Rather than focusing on everything, you should focus only on the essential part that you think that the students must learn.It can help the students to learn the important lessons and can help enhance their knowledge.You can also prioritise the work as per the requirements. Keep the important things at first and then write the least important things as per the curriculum.
·         Individual lessons
If you work on the individual lessons, you can more effectively teach the students for long-term and implement your plans efficiently.If you divide the task into small intervals and at every stage, there is an important lesson; you can carry on with any of them.In this way, there will be less workload on the teachers also. They need not devote much time to the planning.It would also help the students to grab easily,and the teachers would be able to know where their students stand.The skills of the students will be highlighted more,and they will be in control of their teachers.
·         Take the test
Taking test is the most traditional method to know whether the students are learning enough or not.It is still the best method to check the potential of the students.Taking short quiz would also help the teachers to know the learning skills of the students. Before starting any lesson, if you take a short quiz about the previous lecture, you can know how effective is your teaching and how fast is the learning of the students.
·         Going backwards
If you have set a plan and it has become dull and boring for you, to bring a twist you can start it backwards. It would help bring the freshness in the lectures,and the students will also feel refreshed.Asking them questions backwards would also help.The students have done the last chapters recently,and they will feel it easy to recall.
·         Blend it all
Practising two or more subjects together help better learning and it also has a great impact on the minds of the teachers.You can mix up the content of the different curriculum and then take the test.Mixing up the literature texts also help, it would make the students brainstorm.
